A beautifully restored three-story, four-bedroom home, with stone walls from the 18th century, Casa de los Helechos is an art-lover's dream.
Located in the historic Centro, this lovely property features the best of Mexican folkart and paintings.
From the cozy family room by the kitchen with its hand-painted doors, to the living room with its TV wallscreen depicting a panorama of San Miguel, to the numerous wall niches with 'tree of life' sculptures and other fine examples of Mexican masters, you will be enchanted by the decorations of this charming home.
The main floor includes the entry foyer, living room - complete with wide-screen TV, bar and separate study with high-speed Internet cable connection - and the dining room/family room/kitchen area.
Beyond the kitchen is lushly-planted breakfast patio and the laundry area.
Upstairs, you come to a second-floor landing and sitting area, with the TV area for the three guest bedrooms (each with two twins) on that floor. One bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, the other two share a bathroom.
The third floor is dedicated to the master suite, including the main bedroom with its brick boveda ceiling, fireplace and en-suite bathroom as well as another TV sitting area.
From this sitting room you have access to a wonderful roof terrace with a view across the historic inner city toward the western mountains - perfect for sunset cocktails and all-day-long lounging.
The owner even has stored a massage table on this level, so we can arrange to have a masseuse come to give you an afternoon rubdown, either in the privacy of the master suite or in the fresh air of the roof terrace!

A 8% line item for Mexican taxes and administrative fees will be added to all rental rates.
Please note that a 20% holiday surcharge is added to all rental rates during Christmas, New Year's, Day of the Dead and Semana Santa (week before Easter).
