Casa Buena Fortuna is indeed a place of "good fortune", providing you a charming, comfortable house with three well-separated bedrooms on one of the best streets of town.
Recently renovated and beautifully decorated, this lovely property has plenty of outdoor space -- entry patios, a covered sala and small garden, as well as a roof terrace for sunning.
Not large, yet spacious and cozy, with a grand master suite (with king bed) and two other good-sized bedrooms (one with queen bed and the other with two twins, which can also be made up into a king bed), Casa Buena Fortuna would be an excellent choice for two couples traveling together or for a family with teenagers (but no kids under age 10, please).
It has two TVs, one in the living room and the other in the master bedroom, complete with US stations.
There also is wireless Internet connection included with the rental rate, and the owner has installed a Vonage (Voice-Over-IP) phone line for free calls to the U.S. and Canada.
Carmen the maid comes Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to keep the house tidy and to do simple laundry. Included in the rental rate are Carmen's cooking services for breakfast and mid-day comida, although her primary role is to clean so we ask that renters be understanding of her time limitations. She is also willing to come back to prepare dinner in the evening, per advance arrangement for an extra hourly fee. The gardener comes several times a week to water and tend the garden.
Casa Buena Fortuna located on Calle Sollano, between the Jardin and Parque Juarez, considered the choicest neighborhood in San Miguel.
