About Casa de Los Cumpleanos
This hidden Mexican jewel located on a small cobblestone alley at the top of the historic district is just minutes by foot to the town center.
It is located about 6 blocks from the main church and square. A cable connection for high-speed Internet for your own laptop is provided as part of the rental rate.
The traditional Mexican house circles a main patio with lush gardens, a fountain and an outdoor sala with fireplace and seating area with sofa and chairs.
On the ground floor is the kitchen, a separate dining room with colorful Mexican furnishings and a small but cozy living room and fireplace.
A ground-floor bedroom with double bed is also on the main level.
The second floor master bedroom with separate sitting area overlooks the patio and garden area and has the ambiance of old Spain.
Beautiful linens adorn the canopy bed which is a queen size.
The master bath features specialty talavara tile from local craftsmen.
Across the way are two large bedroom suites, one with queen bed and the other with two twin beds.
Both rooms have their own baths.
There is a third-level rooftop terrace with views of the mountains and churches and has areas to sunbathe . . . or cocktail!
Reina the maid comes regularly to clean and do simple laundry, but she also is a great cook. In the event renters want Reina to prepare breakfast and mid-day comida, there is an extra charge for her cooking service: 100 pesos/day for breakfast and 200 pesos/day for comida (or, if both meals are requested, a total of 300 pesos/day). If renters want Reina to stay after her normal work hours to prepare a special evening meal, the charge is then 60 pesos/hour for this overtime service, plus cabfare home. The actual food and beverages, of course, are purchased as a separate expense.

A 6% line item for Mexican taxes and administrative fees will be added to all rental rates. Please note that a 20% holiday surcharge is added to all rental rates during Christmas, New Year's and Semana Santa (week before Easter). This one-of-a-kind house is truly a gem of old Mexico with wonderful accents. THIS HOUSE IS NOT TO BE MISSED!
