About Casa Costello

A beautiful bargain, Casa Costello is newly built and decorated by one of the best design/furniture enterprises in town. On a quiet street in the Mexican-family neighborhood of Colonia Guadelupe, this 3-bedroom charmer is located in between Centro and the Aurora Design Center, a level 15-min walk from the Jardin. Your neighborhood restaurant, Gombo's, just around the corner, is one of the best pizza places in town, and there are many shops/bakeries/pharmacies just a few blocks over along the Calzada de Aurora. A great day spa is just around the corner as well.

Safe and secure, Casa Costello is inside a gated compound with 4 other similar townhomes. It has parking for one car inside the compound.

On the ground floor, you have the main social areas — a living/dining room that opens into two small patios, plus a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances including a dishwasher. There is a powder room by the entrance foyer, and a laundry area off one of the patios. One bedroom — with queen bed, TV, double sinks in the bathroom and a large, walk-in closet — is also on this level.

Upstairs are two more bedrooms, one with queen bed and bathroom, plus one with two twins. Each of the three bedrooms has its own patio/terrace access plus its own gas-log fireplace for chilly evenings.

The roof terrace is spacious and a great spot for dining, complete with umbrella table and chairs and loungers. You can view distant mountains and the sunset from the roof terrace — and there's room to mix your evening cocktails up here in the small wetbar with mini-fridge and sink. As the city lights come on after nightfall, you can also see the beautifully lit spire of the Parroquia church.

Casa Costello comes with both Telmex phone for local calls and a Vonage line for free calls back to the U.S. and Canada. Included in the rental rate is a cable connection for high-speed Internet access to your own laptop. The TV offers cable service with several English-language channels, including CNN. Lupita the maid comes 3 times a week (Mon-Wed-Fri, from 11 am to 2 pm) to keep the house tidy and wash sheets & towels.

This is a perfect, well-priced rental for one or two couples, or for a family with one or two children age 10 or older.
